CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE
Sindile Foundation members have in the past partnered with various organisation such as CHOC SA, World Changers, Reach for a Dream and many others. In these partnerships we have managed to support many places of safety for children.
The main focus of all our projects are:
- Creche development (Education is provided for the children and our foundation plays the pivotal role of providing amongst other things uniform, stationary and basic necessities for a child of school going age)
- Sponsor a Child (This initiative was done in order to aid medical bills for children who require urgent medical assistance and to assist CHOC SA patients who required funding)
- Feeding scheme (We have fed over 3500 individuals from communities, 500 care centre children and over 10 NGO’s who required basic nutrition. We aim to feed people daily)
- Great Minds (This is a 10 year old tradition where we partner with High Schools in disadvantaged communities, educate the youth on choices after schooling especially at Tertiary level and we promote entrepreneurial initiatives.
SINDILE FOUNDATION APPROACH
Our approach to addressing the many problems facing the disadvantaged and rural communities is the concept of INNOVATION.
This concept combines the disciplines of Technology and Skills Development and Training with Agriculture, to provide a holistic solution to any rural community.
